An outdoor kitchen can change the way a terrace or garden is used, creating a dedicated place where preparing food becomes part of spending time outside. Slovenian company Figura designs and produces custom outdoor kitchens that combine cooking facilities, work surfaces, storage, and other practical features in one carefully planned space.
Figura specializes in outdoor kitchens made from polished concrete. The work surfaces are protected with a special coating that facilitates cleaning and maintenance, while the materials are selected with exposure to changing weather conditions in mind. This makes the kitchen suitable for an environment where sun, rain, wind, and temperature variations are unavoidable.
Rather than relying on one standard configuration, Figura adapts each project to the available area and the customer’s individual requirements. The dimensions, countertop thickness, installations, equipment placement, and other details can therefore be considered during the planning process. This flexibility makes it possible to create solutions for spacious gardens as well as more compact terraces.
The cooking area can incorporate equipment such as a grill, cooktop, sink, refrigerator, or even an oven. Figura also offers different materials for cabinet doors, allowing functional elements to contribute to the overall appearance of the finished design.
With food preparation moved outdoors, hosts can remain closer to family and guests instead of repeatedly returning inside for ingredients and utensils. A Figura outdoor kitchen can therefore become more than a place for cooking. It creates a practical focal point for summer meals, weekend barbecues, celebrations, and relaxed everyday gatherings in the open air.
